User Terms

These terms are used throughout this document and their definitions are clearly stated as follows:

• Terms of Use — mandate the terms on which users “You” or “Your” or “Yourself” or “Users” interested in using any of the Services provided by Dispatch-Z, accessing the platform www.dispatchz.ng and the mobile application owned and managed by Dispatch-Zee Logistics Global Limited (Dispatch-Z) collectively referred to as, the “Platform”.
• Clients — refers to Users who are sending or receiving packages using the Dispatch-Z services.
• Package — refers to an item which is to be transported by an accredited Dispatch-Z rider.
• Rider — This is a Dispatch-Z accredited rider who has been vetted and is authorised to accept delivery requests from users and transport the packages to their respective destinations.

Please read the Terms of Use carefully before using the Platform or registering on the Platform or accessing any material or information through the Platform. By clicking on the “I Accept/Agree” button, You accept these Terms of Use and agree to be legally bound by the same.

Use of and access to the Platform is offered to You upon the condition of acceptance of all the terms, conditions and notices contained in this Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, along with any amendments made by Dispatch-Z at its sole discretion and posted on the Platform from time to time.

For the purposes of these Terms of Use, the term “Dispatch-Z” or “Us” or “We” refers to Dispatch-Zee Logistics Global Limited. The term “You” refers to the user or visitor of the Website and/or App. When You use our services, You will be subject to the terms, guidelines and policies applicable to such service and as set forth in these Terms of Use. As long as you comply with these Terms of Use, We grant You a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and use our Platforms and services.

GENERAL TERMS RELATING TO DISPATCH-Z SERVICES

1. Registration:

• Only after becoming a registered user on the Platform will you be allowed access to the Platform, use the Dispatch-Z Services, and connect with other Users (Dispatch riders /Clients, as the case may be)on the Platform. Your continuing registration on the Platform is a requirement for Your capacity to use the Platform and Dispatch-Z Services. While enrolling on the Platform, you will be requested to input your personal information, including your name, contact information, and a working phone number.
• You might need to go through a verification step as part of the registration process in order to confirm your identity and create your account.
• The information, comments, feedback, ratings, reviews, and other materials you offer to Dispatch-Z may be shown on the Platform. You acknowledge and agree that the information you supplied on the Platform is true, correct, and current as of the date on which you registered. You must promptly notify Dispatch-Z in writing of any changes to this information if they occur. This notification must be sent at least 1 (one) week before the change is to take effect. You agree that the information provided by You has not been independently verified by Dispatch-Z. In no event shall Dispatch-Z be held accountable or responsible for the truthfulness or completeness of any information given by You. Dispatch-Z reserves the right to suspend or terminate Your Account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Platform (or any portion thereof) at any time if You provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or Dispatch-Z has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete.

2. Dispatch-Z Services:

The following services (collectively, “Dispatch-Z Services”) are offered to you by the Platform:

• It enables you to: Interact with other users, either requesting for service or accepting requests.
• View the goods and services (collectively, “Items”) listed on the Platform by the Tied Up User
• Buy Items from Non-Tied Up Users and have them delivered to you by Dispatch-Z (collectively, “Delivery Services”).
• Pick up and drop off packages from one location to another via Dispatch-Z. (“Pick Up and Drop Off Services”).
• Based on user ratings, reviews, and comments submitted on the platform, it enables improvement in the quality of the services offered by Dispatch-Z.
• You must quickly tell the Platform that the Delivery Services/Pick-Up and Drop-Off Services/have been finished or delivered, as applicable.
• You shall not start a delivery request for any item on the Platform that is against the law, immoral, unethical, hazardous, includes harmful materials, or violates this agreement’s terms of use. You hereby expressly agree not to initiate any transaction on the Platform for the supply of any alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, or psychoactive substances, etc. Furthermore, You hereby acknowledge and agree that Dispatch-Z shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, expense, cost, or damage incurred by You in connection with transactions that You initiate on the Platform.
• Dispatch-Z has no responsibility for the packages that are picked up and delivered on your behalf by us or the items that are being delivered to you because it does not inspect or verify them. However, Dispatch-Z shall have the right to report You to the government authorities and take other appropriate legal actions against You if it comes to its knowledge that You have packaged any illegal or dangerous substance or have used the Pick-up and Drop Off Services using the Platform to deliver any illegal or dangerous substance.
• By using the Dispatch-Z Services, you agree that Dispatch-Z is not responsible for any losses of any kind, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
• When you use your mobile device to use a Dispatch-Z Service on its mobile app, Dispatch-Z shall use Your location-based information that is obtained by Dispatch-Z through the Global Positioning System(GPS) only to support and enhance the Dispatch-Z Services being provided to You, Dispatch-Z shall use such location-based information.
• Any assignments that are immoral or illegal in nature cannot be completed by us. Dispatch-Z reserves the right to refuse to carry out any tasks on the grounds that they are immoral, unethical, illegal, or prohibited by Dispatch-Z’s internal regulations or at Dispatch-Z’s sole discretion. We may also decline to carry out a work on the grounds that it is against the terms of any agreement to which we are parties.
• By signing this agreement, you agree to notify Dispatch-Z in writing of any complaints you may have regarding the Dispatch-Z Services within 24 (twenty four) hours of using them.

3. User Information

• The data you give us is under your sole control and responsibility. Dispatch-Z owns the database of user accounts, including user accounts with contact information such as phone numbers and email addresses. Furthermore, you acknowledge and accept that some information will be case-sensitive and needs to be handled with caution.
• The Account will be suspended forever if the Platform is unable to verify the User’s unique identity using a valid cellphone number or email address. In the aforementioned scenario, Dispatch-Z fully reserves the right to suspend a User’s Account and is under no obligation to disclose any account information.

4. Payment Terms

• Pick Up and Drop Off Services (For Clients): When submitting a request for a pick-up and drop-off service, you must pay the service fees that may be displayed to you on the platform in order to use the pick-up and drop-off service. The Pick Up and Drop of Service will only be started by Dispatch-Z after approving such price payment.
• Service Fees (For Riders): You will be charged separately for the delivery services (“Service Fees”). You must pay the Service Fees before using any Dispatch-Z Services.
• You consent that Dispatch-Z may process the payments you make on the Platform using a variety of third-party vendors, service providers, and payment gateways.

5. Rating

• You acknowledge and agree that:
  (i) following the conclusion of a transaction on the Platform, the User will be given the option to rate and comment on the Delivery Partner (with regard to the services provided by the Delivery Partner) and Users (with regard to the Items sold/provided by them); and
  (ii) the Delivery Partner and the Tied-Up Users may also be given the opportunity to rate You on the Platform. Your rating score on the Platform will be calculated based on these Delivery Partners’ and users’ ratings and it will be publicly displayed.
• Without giving credit to or approval from Users, Dispatch-Z and its affiliates reserve the right to use, disseminate, and display such ratings and comments in connection with their business. You hereby consent to this. If a comment contains obscenities or other objectionable material, contains a person’s name or other personally identifiable information, or otherwise violates any privacy laws, other applicable laws, or Dispatch-Z or its affiliates’ content policies, Dispatch-Z and its affiliates reserve the right to edit or remove the comment.
• Location: You understand and agree that in order to use the Dispatch-Z Services to send and/or receive, or to deliver packages on the platform, you must provide your geo-location information. You understand that your geolocation data will be tracked and monitored, and you provide your permission in writing to do so. Additionally, Dispatch-Z may give Users access to Your geolocation data (as the case maybe).
• Fees and Taxes: You are responsible for all carrier data plans and other fees and taxes associated with your use of our services. We may charge you for our services, including applicable taxes. We may refuse or cancel orders. We do not provide refunds for our services, except as required by law.

6. Communications

You hereby fully consent to hearing from Dispatch-Z or other third parties via SMS and/or email. You can always contact us to opt-out from receiving emails and SMS notifications. You may still receive some messages in relation to how you use the Dispatch-Z service.

7. Report Abuse

In the event that You discover any abuse, a breach of these Terms of Use, or Unacceptable Content on the Platform, kindly report it to the following email address, info@dispatchz.ng.
